Main Operating Steps of the Repair Kit

1.Disassemble and clean

 

  • Use special tools to separate the turbine from the compressor housing

  • Thoroughly remove the carbon deposits with a chemical cleaner and check if the impeller is scratched

2. Replacement of key components

  • Piston ring: If the thickness difference between new and old is larger than 0.1mm, it needs to be replaced. When installing, align the notch with the locating pin
  • Journal bearing: Apply high-temperature grease and control the axial clearance at 0.03-0.08mm
  • O-rings: Oil-resistant fluorine rubber material is preferred. Apply sealant lightly before installation

3. Assembly and debugging

  • Assemble in the reverse order. Tighten the bolts diagonally in three steps (reference torque: 25-30N·m).

  • After loading the vehicle, let it idle for 10 minutes to check if there is any leakage at the oil pipe interface

Precautions after Maintenance

  • Avoid sudden acceleration during the first drive and change the engine oil within 500 kilometers
  • Check the intake pipe of the turbocharger every 20,000 kilometers to prevent secondary damage from impurities
